These advertisers not only have business wisdom for advertising on Pixelection, they are helping important causes. So make sure you visit their sites often and patronize them whenever possible.

 PRIVACY POLICY
Please read this statement carefully before using proceeding to access Pixelection web sites. Your use of Pixelection website indicates your agreement to abide by the Terms in effect.
Information Collection
Pixelection is the sole owner of the information collected on all sites listed at www.pixelection.net. Pixelection may collect information from our users at several different points on our Web site.
Mailing List
Pixelection may launch a mailing list. In order to sign up to receive regular emails from this mailing list, users must submit information including a valid email address and demographic information such as location and interests. This information will be used in aggregate form only in order to assess general user interest in various internal and third party products and services, and your personal and contact information will not be passed to any other organization. Users who choose to sign up for the mailing list will receive regular emails from Pixelection including new articles added to the site as well as emails from third party Pixelection site sponsors. If you do not wish to receive emails from third party advertisers, do not sign up for the mailing list.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. We may use a tracking utility that uses log files to analyze user movement.
Legal Disclaimer
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, Pixelection may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.
Business Transitions
In the event Pixelection goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company or sale of a portion of its assets, users' personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.
Links
The Pixelection web sites contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we, Pixelection, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by Pixelection.
Notification of Changes
Whenever Pixelection changes its privacy policy, those changes will be posted to this privacy statement, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

Terms & Conditions

• The minimum purchase is $100 (100 pixels), and the maximum purchase is whatever pixels are still available at the time of purchase.
• When you 'buy' my pixels you will not 'own' any part of the Pixelection homepage or website. You are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published on the Pixelection homepage in the space you have purchased.
• You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them, so you must be sure of the image & link you want on the homepage, which will be there for 3 months after Inauguration Day (January 20, 2009). Exceptions will only be considered if there are extenuating circumstances (e.g. your site no longer exists, major structural change to your site, lawsuits, etc.)
• There are no refunds once your image and link are accepted and published on the Pixelection homepage.
• No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted - which is completely at the discretion of Pixelection. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative. If you do not, you will receive a refund and you will lose your pixels.
• If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult material, your ad will be removed until you provide a new, non-offensive link, and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.
• You can choose to remove your image/link from the Pixelection homepage at any time. However, you will not get a refund and the space will become available for sale.
• Images must be the exact size you have paid for (e.g. 100 pixels = 10x10 pixels)
• Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size
• We will not accept any animated images
• Links must be to web pages only and begin with "http://..."
• You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.
• Funds must be fully received and cleared before your pixels go live on the Pixelection homepage
• We will do everything in our power to keep downtime to a minimum, but this may happen occasionally for site maintenance.
• Once you have ordered, the funds have cleared and we have received your image/link, we will aim to get your ad online within 48-72 hours.
